This 1966 Chevelle SS396 had a rather unfortunate experience at another restoration shop. While it appeared to be a car needing only some finish-up work, further investigation revealed considerable issues. Poor sheetmetal work, bad welds, incorrect/inadequate hardware throughout, runs/dry spots/lack of adhesion with the paint, and overall lack of detail.
After a thorough evaluation, it was decided that it need to come completely apart and to be started over from square one. When it's all said and done the car will be the way it should be.
